This morning I was up early taking care of some clients dining reservations and of course I could not get back to sleep! So I began doing some research on an amazing "bucket list" trip for some loyal clients and I thought I would share-- let's talk about Adventures by Disney's amazing trip to Ireland!

Now for those new to my blog that may not know about Adventures by Disney here is a quick summary-- amazing locations, hassle free planning, total immersion into the culture, amazing luxury, and family memories that will last a lifetime. Really, that sums it all up! To learn more visit this story on the Adventures by Disney difference.

Well Adventures by Disney, or AbD, has an amazing trip that takes you right into the heart of the Emeral Isle. From Dublin to the Irish countryside, you get the opportunity to experience the very best of this breathtaking country. You even get the opportunity to kiss the fabled blarney stone!

The trip begins in the capital of Ireland, Dublin. The first full day of your adventure will start off with an amazing privately guided tour of Dublin. Traveling on an amphibious vehicle you will get an opportunity to see the city from both land and water. You will also get a private tour of the Jeanie Johnston ship, a classic wooden vessel that helped bring many Irish immigrants to America.

For many though the highlight of Dublin will be a private visit to the Guinness Storehouse. Here you can learn all about the process of crafting the "perfect pint" and enjoy an amazing Irish lunch.

The afternoon in Dublin brings many options for your family. You can hop off on your own for some great shopping, relaxation, or adventure. Or, one of your Adventure Guides can help you with a pre-arranged tour of Dublin sites. This is time to make sure your experiencing the side of Dublin most important to your family.

Your next day begins your journey through the Irish countryside where you will first head to Cashel, the land of kings. Here you will hike up to the Rock of Cashel and explore the royal seat of the Kings of Munster. You will get the opportunity to experience amazing medieval buildings and architecture, learning all about this historic land. For the younger members of your family a Junior Adventurer activity will include a hunt for their very own lucky shamrock.

In the afternoon you will head to Killarney,  a historic Irish town founded in 640 AD. After a dinner on your own, you will join in a ghost walk of Killarney National Park. Explore amazing abandoned castles and ruins along the lake in search of local "spirits".

The next morning your adventure through Killarney continues as your travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Muckross House. This Victorian Era Estate was once home to Irish aristocrats and today is a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will receive a private guided tour of the restored manor and then enjoy a private luncheon on the grounds.

In the afternoon you will return to Killarney National Park for a little less spooky adventure. You will have the afternoon to hike, bike, and explore the amazing park and its lake. The day will conclude with a traditional Irish meal in an Irish cottage. The meal comes with amazing festive atmosphere to help you truly get in the Irish mood.

The next day you set off for County Clare and the life of nobility, but first you stop at the famed Blarney Castle. While visiting the castle you will get the opportunity to explore the amazing ground and even kiss the famed Blarney Stone. Local legend says anyone who kisses the stone will receive the gift of eloquence, so be sure to give that stone a big smooch!

Then its off to Drommoland Castle, your home for the next few nights! Built in the 15th century this estate is now an amazing 5-star resort that will certainly spoil you! Once settled in you will enjoy dinner at Dromoland's Fig Tree Restaurant. Meanwhile, Junior Adventurers will be treated to a night of food, fun and a classic Disney movie, making sure every member of your family is getting exactly what they want from this luxurious hotel.

The next two days are all about truly enjoying the Irish countryside and becoming fully immersed in the world around you. It begins with a private guided tour of Drommoland Castle. The tour kicks off late-morning so you have the opportunity to relax and rest a little from the previous days travel!

The rest of the day features a bird of prey demonstration, where local experts will show you all about the ancient sport of falconry. Then your family will have the afternoon on your own to enjoy the resort. Your Adventure Guides will help you find just the right experience for your family-- be it tennis, golf, biking, croquet, archery... Or perhaps a little bit of spa time! The evening will conclude with a medieval banquet full of traditional Irish food, drink, music, dancing, and entertainment.

The final day begins with a tour of an authentic, working Irish farm. Here you will learn all about things like scone-making and sheep herding. You may even get the opportunity to feed a baby lamb or piglet by bottle. After a homestyle lunch with traditional soda bread, you head off to the Cliffs of Moher. The dramatic Cliffs of Moher drop over 700 feet straight into the ocean. Hear the sound of crashing waves and marvel at one of Ireland's most magnificent views. Your visit to the famed landmark includes entry into O'Brien's Tower, located at the highest point of the Cliffs.

Since this is your final full day on the trip it will end as all Adventures by Disney trips ends, with the traditional Farewell Dinner. I must say this is actually quit an emotional time, or at least it was on my trip to Peru. Here you will see photographs of the amazing adventure you just took. You will quickly realize that not only did your family create amazing memories, but you also made amazing friends with the others on the trip with you.
