So you're looking to take your little one's on an amazing family trip to Walt Disney World. One question you're probably asking-- where are some great restaurant options where I can take my kids that is both fun and good food? Well as a mother of four, two of them under the age of four, I've got some great recommendations!

1. Hollywood & Vine

If you're kids are like mine they LOVE Disney Junior. Well for breakfast and lunch everyday you can go to the Disney Junior Play & Dine at Hollywood & Vine inside Disney's Hollywood Studios. Don’t miss this chance to eat, play and dance along with friends from Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Handy Manny during this fun and interactive dining experience. The food is served buffet style and there is something for everyone to enjoy!

2. Chef Mickey's

If you're kids absolutely have to see all the Fab Five (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto) during their trip than a meal at Chef Mickey's is a must. Located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort, Chef Mickey's features both breakfast and dinner buffet options with contemporary American cuisine. And just above your table you will see the Monorail buzz by every few minutes-- something my four year old son absolutely loves.

3. Whispering Canyon Cafe

This is the only meal on our list that does not feature characters, but it is still awesome. Located inside the Wilderness Lodge Resort, Whispering Canyon Cafe features rough-hewn charm and colorfully named Cast Members who have a reputation for sassing customers. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are offered with both family style skillets and ala carte menu items. The best part is all the shenanigans going on around you mean your kids can let off some energy and it will be considered perfectly acceptable!

4. Tusker House

Tucked inside Disney's Animal Kingdom, Tusker House is another great option to meet some of Disney's most popular characters. Let Safari Donald Duck and his friends quack you up at a wild character breakfast and lunch. The all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast and lunch buffets include traditional American fare, plus unique dishes with flavorful African influences. That extra African flare really differentiates the food options.

5. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Want to see some Princesses? Well I suggest you skip over Cinderella's Royal Table and head over to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall inside Epcot. At Akershus you will have an amazing character dining experience and get to see the largest collection of Princesses you will find at Walt Disney World-- Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, and Ariel have all been known to make an appearance! Not only is their such a large collection of Princesses, but Akershus is significantly cheaper than Royal Table!
